GHTC - Global Healthcare Travel Council
Global Membership Prospectus & Partnership Guide (2026)
Version: 8.0 | Scope: 9th Term Expanded Membership Structure and Global Standards
"Global Healthcare For All"
1. Executive Vision & Introduction
The Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC) stands as the preeminent international authority representing a Global Alliance of Nations across Multiple Continents. As the supreme body orchestrating the movement of patients, medical knowledge, and ethical standards across borders, GHTC is dedicated to unifying the healthcare travel industry and fostering cross-border collaboration.
In 2026, as we expand our global footprint, we focus on a unified ecosystem where national interests and private excellence converge to set the gold standard in global medical mobility. We invite nations and institutional stakeholders to join this elite alliance to shape the standards of high-quality patient care and sustainable medical tourism, ensuring that excellence in healthcare remains accessible to all.
2. Strategic Vision & Philosophy: "Universal Integrity"
The GHTC (Global Healthcare Travel Council) is the leading umbrella organization for setting global standards in health tourism, holding the highest level of representation with governments and international bodies.
The "UNIVERSAL INTEGRITY" Principle: At GHTC, membership is not merely a "service package" purchase; it is a strategic integration into the global healthcare ecosystem. Access rights are determined solely by an institution's approved membership tier, ensuring that every member receives full, unrestricted authorization scaled to their specific institutional capacity, rather than artificially segmented sub-packages.
Every member, within their approved category (Level), enjoys assigned access rights. We do not apply sub-packages or restricted access models; full authorization based on institutional capacity is the standard.
3. Expanded Membership Levels & Eligibility
GHTC integrates organizations that meet elite ethical and quality standards across six primary levels:
| Category | Entity Type | Definition & Role |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Sovereign Leadership (National Councils) | Accredited National Councils, Ministry Representatives, Institutional Governing Members, Strategic National Stakeholders. |
| Level 2 | Institutional Excellence (Premium Healthcare Providers) |
|
| Level 3 | Specialized Clinical Operations & Niche Providers | Specialized clinics (IVF Centers, Dental Clinics, Aesthetics and niche centers). |
| Level 4 | Global Facilitation & Healthcare Advisory Networks | Approved Health Tourism Agencies and Facilitators. These entities are dedicated to streamlining international patient pathways and supporting operational excellence. |
| Level 5 | Associate Members Individual Physicians | Distinguished Medical Specialists. Globally renowned physicians and surgeons focused on high-impact treatments and advanced interventions. |
